At the Nanaimo Marine Centre we want you to enjoy quality products through a quality shopping experience. Our Return Policy is designed to treat you fairly and not penalize you for changing your mind. It is also designed to protect you in the event the merchandise you purchase proves to be defective. While the vast majority of the products we sell are simple to return, there are a few exceptions and restrictions as explained below.
Returns and Exchanges

If You Have Your Original Invoice:
·         Please fill out the return portion of the invoice with reason for return, ship the invoice, the item(s), all packaging and all accessories.
·         Your refund will generally be in the same form as the original purchase.
·         See the chart below for your method of refund.

To Return Directly to Nanaimo Marine Centre, Please Review the Guidelines Below:
·         Merchandise containing hazardous material may only be directly returned to our Marine Centre. The Nanaimo Marine Centre will not pay for return shipping charges unless the return is due to our error in your order. We will replace defective units and exchange for the same model and style only.

Non-Returnable Items:  We cannot accept returns of the following items:
·         Carry-on Air Conditioners
·         Clearance Items
·         Computer Software and Electronic Charts
·         Items Registered to the User i.e. EPIRBS, PLBs, SPOT
·         Life Rafts
·         Inflatable Boats
·         Engines
·         Items with Expiration Dates (e.g. flares, charts, annual publications)
·         Swimwear
·         Items Which Have Been Damaged due to Improper Installation
Certain manufacturers request that you deal directly with them first as they can often solve the problem quickly and easily over the phone. If you believe an item is defective, please call for information on your manufacturer's phone number.
Restocking Fees:  The following items are subject to a 20% restocking fee:
·         Cut lengths (e.g. rope, wire, chain, cable, webbing, fabric, etc.).
·         Special Orders
·         Batteries will be prorated per the specific manufacturer's policy
